Quality
Spooltech provides exceptional quality control and quality assurance for each product manufactured. Quality assurance and quality control personnel perform stringent quality audits, process reviews, In-House NDT, and performance load-testing. Third party-inspectors provide X-Ray and UT testing and calibration testing of essential machines and measuring tools.
Quality Assurance
Spooltech has achieved numerous quality approval certifications, Certifications of Compliance and case approval from DNV, ABS, AWS API, and ISO 9001:2015 certification to assure you that each product you receive meets the highest quality standards in the industry.
In-house quality control and quality assurance personnel create Quality Control Data Books that include material traceability reports (MTR’s), weld procedures, welder qualifications and certifications, and drawing and specifications. Each product Spooltech produces is rigorously inspected and tested before delivery to the customer. DNV is used to perform load tests, and pull tests are performed to meet RFQ requirements. As a Spooltech customer, you can expect to have all quality control and quality assurance reports that you will need to ensure your project is a success.
Load Testing
Spooltech performs rigorous load and pull tests on all steel welded spools, skids, and heavy equipment to assure that each product you receive meets or exceeds the highest quality standards in the industry.
In-house load testing capabilities allow for load testing of any structure. Our HSEQ department can handle all of our customer's needs including 2-point, 4-point, and drop tests. In-house calibrated telemetric equipment and load testing weights give Spooltech flexibility to meet your needs in a timely manner.
Non Destructive Testing
Spooltech performs many different NDT processes to ensure customers specifications are met. In-house procedures written by our contract Level III are used on projects to ensure the highest integrity in our NDT processes. Currently, we have the availability to handle all of your needs including the following processes:
- Visual Testing
- Magnetic Particle Testing (including wet, dry and fluorescent)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Radiography Testing
HSE
